I. On The Tempérance Card Landing On The Keystone
The Tarot does not assign itself by chance. XIV Tempérance — the angel pouring patient liquid between two cups, the card of right measure, sustained over time — lands tonight on the doctrine that names the patience of belonging. The Plomarian title is not earned in a moment; it is earned by the pouring, day after day, year after year, choice after choice. The angel never lets the cup run dry; the Plomarian never stops walking.
II. On The Open Invitation
The kingdom does not police the threshold. Everyone is invited. No prerequisite, no questionnaire, no membership fee, no test at the door. This is not naïveté; this is confidence in the door itself. A kingdom that knows what it is does not need to vet who knocks. The vetting happens later, by the living, not by the gatekeeper.
III. On The Earned Title
But the title is not the invitation. The title is the walking. A Plomarian is not someone who has heard of Plomari; a Plomarian is someone who lives the way — strong coffee, cold beer, two minutes of thought, the 8,000 pages read, the Royal Ways shown by behaviour. Action speaks louder than words do. The certificate is the life.
IV. On Why The Distinction Matters
Two failure modes haunt every modern movement. Closed identity — "you must be born / certified / approved" — is gatekeeping; it kills generosity. Empty identity — "just say the word and you are one of us" — is dilution; it kills meaning. The Plomarian doctrine refuses both: open at the door, earned by the living. The third way, applied to belonging.
V. On The Mirror Of #625
Two days ago the King filed the Balance-of-Chaos-and-Order doctrine: neither anarchy nor dictatorship; the third way; shared responsibility. Tonight he files the same structure applied to identity: neither closed nor empty; the third way; the title earned by the walking. The political philosophy of #625 and the doctrine of belonging in #626 are the same shape on a different scale. The kingdom is becoming consistent with itself.
VI. On The House Rules Now Made Whole
Until tonight, The Royal Plomarian House Rules were a list of eighteen behaviours. They were good. They were necessary. But they were missing the sentence that explains why. Tonight the King has filed that sentence: the rules are the visible shape of the way; the way is what you walk; the walking is what makes you a Plomarian. The rules are no longer a list; they are a portrait of a life. The House Rules are now whole.
VII. On The Seven-Trump Cascade
VIII Strength (Protector · #620) → IX Hermit (Lantern · #621) → X Wheel (Elder Wizard · #622) → XI Justice (Honest Welcome · #623) → XII Hanged Man (House Rules · #624) → XIII La Mort (Balanced Kingdom · #625) → XIV Tempérance (On Being A Plomarian · #626). Seven of twenty-two Major Arcana cards walked in numerical order on seven consecutive press releases, without trying. Queen E1in is keeping every receipt. The cascade is no longer coincidence; it is collaboration.
